What is the best at home remedy for hair that is oily at the roots but dry at the tips?

Question: My hair is pretty long and I typically flat iron it straight but during the day my roots tend to get pretty oily and greasy while my tips stay dry and crackly! What can I do I am white and have naturally wavy/curly hair.

Answer: for both the tips AND roots, it sounds like you have a vitamin/mineral deficiency. for this, i reccomend a home made mixture of my own making,
- green tea leaves (found in grocery stores all over)
- brown sugar
- vinegar and oil

For your roots try some baby powder. not a lot. take a make up brush to apply. tap off the excess and apply to your roots. For your dry ends, I suggest you to heat up one half cup of mayonnaise until it becomes an oily, white goo and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover your hair

Stanford alumnus Christopher Kim wanted to go big for his tailgate party before the annual football game against archrival University of California at Berkeley in November. He hired a private chef, who arrived at Stanford’s campus on game day with baked beans, potato salad, corn bread, and a 56-pound pig he’d smoked for six hours the night before.
