My 1year old collie has blisters and broken skin on all four of his pads due to running up and down a road.?

Question: He was chasing a ball. I noticed he looked uncomfortable walking a while later. How can i treat this now before his afternoon walk, or should i not walk him. He normally walks of road.

Answer: Hi,your going to have to let his paws heel before you walk
him.I personally would take him to the vets for a check up.
You need to keep his paws clean & dry for them to heal.
Do not put any medicine on his paws has he will lick it off.

Dab them with witch hazel to soothe his pads and dont bother walking him for the rest of the day. Give him more little short walks followed by cleaning his pads with saline solution then dabbing the witch hazel on until they are healed.
